I guess you could say this is sorta a response blog to Brookelyn’s Goodbye Blog on retiring from the Frag Dolls.
So the first time I met Brooke Hattabaugh in person was in 2006 at the World Series of Video Games in Louisville, KY. It was the summer right after my sophomore year in high…
This is a goodbye blog but because I’m me and because my brain NEVER works in the same order as everyone else’s I’m not going to tell you the standard “this is how it all ends” story. Instead, I’ll tell you how it all began.
Not the generic, interview “how did you get to be a Frag…

What initially got me thinking about the switch was when I first heard about Netflix having a price hike of as much as 60%! I was about to switch to Hulu Plus right then, but when I looked into it and read that it would only be affecting subscribers who want or already have the combo pack of Instant and DVDs (that is currently $9.99/mo and will be increasing to $15.99/mo), it didn’t change anything for me since I already pay the $7.99/mo for Instant streaming only, which isn’t changing in price. Although I was originally only considering switching because of the price increase, it then got me contemplating other reasons as to why switching to Hulu Plus made sense.
I thought back to when I tried my ‘1-Week FREE’ trial a few months ago and how pleasantly surprised I was by their much larger selection of new shows and new episodes of said shows; even episodes so new that they aired on TV just the day before. It offers almost all the prime time TV from Fox, NBC, and ABC, all for the same price that I am currently paying for Netflix. The only thing I didn’t really like about it though, was the abundance of adds when watching shows. Something that I’ve grown accustom to with Netflix is that there are no commercials or any add interruption, so it was really annoying to me at first but I did get used to it after a day of watching an entire season of GLEE :P
My final decision will be based off of which I enjoy most; newer TV series with current episodes (Hulu+) or an array of Movies with a variety of older TV series, but lacks the latest episodes in newer TV series (Netflix). Netfix was tending to all of my TV needs, when could still watch new episodes of shows via cable, but since I no longer have that option due to recently canceling my cable, Hulu Plus might be the best fit for me at this time.
Let me know your thoughts and opinions on my issue :)
